Monique is a classically trained cellist of 34 years, with a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Victoria. She began studying music at four years old with the Suzuki method. She has first class honors   in many Royal Conservatory of Music Exams in both cello and piano. She has also been playing fiddle since 2008.She has been teaching music since 2004. She teaches cello from beginner to advanced levels, as well as violin and viola from beginner to intermediate levels in both classical and fiddle styles, and is very familiar with the Victoria school strings program. During the summer months, Monique can be seen busking on Government Street.
