Refind Builders is seeking Carpenters to join our growing team! This person should be excited to build and learn about carpentry. Many of the job duties include: • Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project • Operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment used to complete carpentry duties • Prepare layouts and build foundations • Build walls and install partitions • Building decks and fences • Framing for concrete installation projects • Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to perform work activities and calculate requirements • Complete and submit daily paperwork reporting time • Unique and custom shop work Requirements: • Red Seal is an asset but not necessary • Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner • Time management skills • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record • Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various construction practices • Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team Wage, Hours, Vacation Time, & Company Vehicle • Hourly Wage based on experience along with skills, effort, carpentry enthusiasm and ambition. • 40 hours a week. 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday with a 45min lunch. • Time off for during Christmas/winter break. Accommodating additional time off requests for family and person time. • Eligible for a company vehicle and gas card based on valid drivers license and driving record. • $500 signing bonus until October 15, 2021 (based on completion of three months probation).
