Camp Host at Fort Rodd Hill

Are you friendly and outgoing? Do you have your own RV? Are you interested in helping with overnight oTENTik guests? Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Site's overnight camping experience offers a taste of life similar to that of the soldiers and their families who were stationed at the fort. Campground hosts provide a welcoming and safe environment for campers. The purpose of the camp host program is to provide an on-site contact for our overnight guests, to orient them to the site, to ensure they are enjoying the site responsibly, and to answer any questions they may have. The oTENTik tents, exclusive to Parks Canada, offer a unique blend of homey comfort with a taste of outdoor adventure. It is an opportunity for visitors to enjoy camping with the comfort of a bed, inside the fort, already set up and ready to go. Our oTENTik season runs from May 1st to September 30th each year, though may run on weekends to October 15th in 2020.
