JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL OFFICE SUPPORT WORKER: BRIDGES ONLINE PROGRAM ASSISTANT Overall Purpose: To actively support the development and delivery of the online education and support programs offered by Bridges for Women Society. Responsibilities: * Converting online module material to Word documents * Develop outline for entire course * Create an organizational system for the online program materials * Research scheduling applications or programs * Gathering evaluation data and providing framework for program statistics * Implement intake and exit surveys for online program * Research online resources and compile resource lists * General administrative duties Supervision: This position will work directly with the Online Coordinator position and supervised by the Director of Programs. Desirable Skills & Experience: * Strong organizational skills * Ability and comfort in working in an online environment * Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook * Effective communication skills * Understanding of working with women who have experienced violence, abuse and trauma * Preference for a background in education, information technology, human services or entrepreneurship. Remuneration & Terms: * $18/ hour * 15 hours per week starting August 17, 2020 to December 4 2020 * Total of 240 hours over the term of employment * Flexible work schedule * Mix of working from Victoria office and remote work Eligibility: This job is funded in part through the Canada Summer Jobs Program.
