Brick Mason / Chimney Specialist $35 – 40 per hr

We are Orca Masonry! We are a group with over 20 years' experience in the construction industry here in Victoria, who have come together and are looking for a skilled tradesman to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Brick Mason to take a Crew Chief Position in our Chimneys division - or C-Pod, we like to refer to it! This position requires a person that has the experience and drive to: * Lead a small crew and assume responsibility for job planning and execution * Is comfortable working at heights and has the ability to set up scaffolding safely * Remove and rebuild chimneys according to design and building code standards * Remove and install new flashing and counter flashing as required * Form and pour concrete caps for chimneys This position is most suited to a skilled Brick Mason who enjoys his job and coming to work 5 days a week, who can direct his crew to plan and do the job safely.
