Bookkeeper

Gauer Olsen is a boutique locally owned and operated accounting firm in Victoria. Our firm is seeking a full-time, experienced Bookkeeper to join the team. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Summarizing the client's books and records; * Management of client's payroll, payables, receivables, expense and tax remittances; * Assisting clients with the betterment of record keeping; * All other bookkeeping and administrative duties as required; The successful candidate will have the following attributes: * 3 years' experience in corporate bookkeeping is considered an asset * Great organization and communication skills * Proficiency and/or experience with: * Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word; * Bookkeeping applications including Sage and QuickBooks * Adobe Acrobat Professional * Additional information technology proficiency is considered an asset * Can-do attitude with the desire and ability to take on new tasks * Experience to work in a team-based environment * Supervisor experience is considered an asset Gauer Olsen offers competitive salaries and benefits, along with a vibrant and exciting work environment.
