Associate Bookkeeper We are looking for an enthusiastic, bright bookkeeper who takes pride in their work to join our business at our offices in Langford and/or Sooke, BC. Responsibilities - Ensure deadlines and filings are met - Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems - Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements - Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills - Complete and submit tax remittance forms, worker' compensation forms, and other government documents - Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports Skills & Requirements - Part time position - Most be able to work flexible hours - Strong computer skills - Strong interpersonal skills and pleasant phone conduct - Independent worker with excellent organizational skills - Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines Please send us your resume by Email with an accompanying cover letter that includes the experiences you can bring to our company and your expectations.
