Camcor Diving Services is a year-round, commercial diving company operating throughout Vancouver Island with head office is Sidney, BC. This position is available in the Sidney location. We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to manage our day to day payroll, accounting and finance requirements and assist in some office tasks. The candidate must have experience working in Sage 50 Premium Accounting with the ability to do accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles; extensive experience in services related to payroll submitting relevant payroll taxes and WCB. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. This position will start at 4 days per week with potential for full time work in the future (5 days/40 hrs). References are required.
