We are looking for a knowledgeable Bookkeeper and Office Manager with experience in the construction industry. Full-time contract position, compensation. WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU: - Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills - Intermediate level of knowledge and experience with Quickbooks - Knowledge and experience of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Payable (AP) - Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment - Be detailed, flexible, and organized - Self-starter with strong ethical standards - Ensures all accounting items are performed in a timely manner, meeting assigned or mandated timelines - Exercises considerable independent judgment and initiative in performing assigned duties. - Exercises tact and courtesy in contacts with vendors, contractors and clients. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Ability to perform all A/P and A/R duties; necessary to perform A/R duties - Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks at an expert level - Detailed knowledge of construction industry billing practices, including progress billing and lien holdbacks - Full cycle progress billing and tracking - Reconciling petty cash and intercompany accounts - Assist in weekly, monthly, and quarterly report preparation for project management - Track and issue employee reimbursements - Other duties or special projects as assigned - Communicate effectively with clients, partners, vendors, and all others involved - Must possess and practice excellent interpersonal, communication, team management and problem-solving skills. - Must work well under pressure and with multi-task workflows - Works productively and harmoniously with others consistently.
