Just in time for the holidays - I've reduced this bass by $200. That's a crazy good price for a hand built bass sporting quality hardware and electronics. At this price, you are paying for the components only... Here is a sweet bass with a Jaguar style hand cut Alder body, and a maple on maple Mighty Mite Jazz style neck. Body: The two piece alder body is finished in a trans-brown/yellow 'burst with 20+ coats of thin nitro lacquer. Neck: Maple on maple jazz width neck in vintage tint stain, and 20+ coats of thin nitro lacquer. The frets have been leveled and dressed. Controls: '62 Jazz style controls (stacked Volume/Tone, stacked Volume/Tone). Chrome control plate and knobs. Pickups: EMG Select Jazz pickups. These are passive pickups, and they sound just great -- super full toned, with lots of clarity and/or bite. Bridge: Vintage style chrome bridge Note: This bass would normally list around $1300, however there is a finish flaw/check in the body. The flaw will not affect the play-ability of the bass - and I stand behind this -- I'll offer a lifetime written warranty on the body of this bass -- if it ever gets worse, I'll replace the body with a new one. I am happy to explain the flaw - just email me. As a consequence, I have significantly reduced the price. You get a great looking, sweet sounding hand made bass, at a significant discount.
