Building Maintenance Manager

The Renaissance is a retirement residence that offers independent seniors daily meals, housekeeping, activities, and safety in a welcoming environment. Under the guidance of the Building Maintenance Manager, the Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of all maintenance functions within the buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, painting, coordination of contract work, maintaining supplies, general repairs, and light landscaping. We are looking for an individual that has the ability to manage all the physical aspects of the position such as lifting, bending and repetitive movements. * Good judgment, patient, kind, and respectful to others * Room for growth within the company * Compensation to commensurate with experience knowledge, skills, & abilities * Good working knowledge of and experience in general repairs * Experience handling emergencies such as power outages, fire, and plumbing emergencies * Criminal Record check required * Grade 12 or equivalent & a valid BC driver's license * Self-motivated individual with excellent judgment and interpersonal skills with co-workers, seniors, and the general public * Demonstrates a commitment to providing the highest quality customer service and hospitality with care and compassion * Strong time management skills including organizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and fulfilling resident maintenance requests * Excellent communication skills * Friendly and professional demeanour * Flexibility and adaptability If this sounds like you please email us your resume.
