1984 DODGE CARAVAN LE (35 years and still going) ONE OF THE FIRST MINIVANS EVER MADE (at least the first year they were made).EVERYTHING WORKS (almost) USUALLY STARTS...(coughs like an old smoker getting goin'...smokes like one, too)...AND RUNS WELL (purrs like a kitten after it warms up...stops smoking, too...)[but it probably shouldn't run because the head gasket needs replacing] 2.6L four cylinder engine. w/carburetor (which should be rebuilt/replaced) NOTE: the engine gaskets are seeping and the van leaves its oily mark where ever it is parked. ALL ORIGINAL (except for a couple of add-ons and repairs) -origjnal 375037 km-original transmission (seriously)-original interior (obviously...could use some seat covers)-original paint (unfortunately...the 'wood paneling' is peeling off)-original dealership logo on rear door (Dad bought it new).-original air conditioning (original cold air is long gone...and it currently isn't making any more. Needs a conversion before repairs).-Original windshield washer switch not working (replaced with a black toggle which bypasses the problem...don't forget to toggle back off...see pictures)- Original removable bench seats (these are why stow-and-go was invented)-Originally an Alberta car (a bit of rust). FULLY ELECTRIC DRIVERS SEAT (seat mount is broken but seat belt should hold you down). NEVER SMOKED IN. COMES WITH HAYNES AND SHOP MANUALS (worth as much as the car) Only $999.00 o.b.o....(fully expecting o.b.o.) This van has been such a good vehicle for our family that it just didn't seem right to send it to the wreckers unannounced. We will be donating the van to charity (the Kidney Car recycling program) some time in January. The van is obviously not drivable in its current condition but is available if someone really wants to restore it. Try your offer. Check out all my other items. Thanks for looking.
