Sidney CPA accounting firm is seeking an administration assistant to join our team. We are a CPA firm who services a variety of clients in and around the Saanich Peninsula and beyond. We are a paperless office who pride ourselves on our high quality service and attention to detail.
We have a permanent part-time position available now (flexible start date).
Part-time position - approx 20 hours a week - 9 to 2:30 pm (flexible with potential increase during March and April, if available.)
Competencies needed for this job are:
Service orientation working with confidential information, ability to work independently within a team setting. Positive attitude. Attention to detail.
Responsibilities include support for internal accounting, general administrating including but not limited to assembly of tax returns and corporate year ends, entering invoices, answering phones and greeting clients.
Qualifications and skills required:
Minimum of 2 years working in administrative support.
Certificate or Diploma in Administrative Assistant, Business Administration or Accounting an asset.
High level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of Quickbooks an asset.
Proficiency in communication skills in English.
Competitive wages. Approx $18-$21 depending on experience.
Flexible - would suit person with children in school.
