Made in Canada in Markam Ont. The Acoustic Profiles 88.6 is highly regarded for clean, powerful, high quality sound, and construction. These were built before they went cheap on their construction and design. These are in 100 % good working order. The two, 8" drivers in each cabinet, have rubber surrounds that will not rot like foam. One is a low frequency woofer, and the other 8" driver is a bass/midrange. There is also a 1 1/2" High Frequency domed tweeter. Cabinets The 55lbs cabinets are fully surrounded in Black Ash Veneer. They measure a big 39" Tall x 15" Deep x 10" wide. These are large volume cabinets designed to provide maximum air pressure resonance. Cabinets are in very good overall condition, front sides top all in great condition, some minor knicks and marks...these are close to 30 years old. Grill covers are in very good condition, but these look better naked. See what you can hear. Awesome sound quality that will impress the most reserved Connoisseur. Strong, deep bass, and very crisp, airy highs. Recent Sale Canuck Audio Mart for $200. Lots of positive feedback. Google the model, check out the chat rooms, not a bad word to say. Anyone owning a pair of these swears by them and have not needed to upgrade to anything. I have found a pair that I like better, so I upgraded. Note that what I upgraded too LOOK better, but have the same sound. These can handle all consumer amps, but I would suggest a minimum 60 up to 125 Watts RMS minimum for maximum efficiency. 200 Watts peak level would not surprise me a bit. This is a fair price that I am quite firm on it. I don't really want to sell, but I need to free up a bit of space
