80 YEAR OLD ROCKING HORSE. This is a one of a kind unique item and has been in the same family since 1939. It is an almost life size pony with a real horse hide covering. I called it Scout after Tonto's horse which had the same markings...for those who remember the Lone Ranger. Given to my older brothers by my Great Grandmother and Grandmother in late 1939...I arrive two years later. Apparently it was bought at Spencer's Department store which was later bought by Eaton's and was made in Germany...therefore anything manufacture there was sold on fire sale basis because of WW II. Scout can be removed from the original rocker and has the original wheels. The head is wood as are the hooves. The mane and tail probably actual horse hair. The rocker has the original red paint with a blue pin stripe detailing. I also have an original photo of my middle brother sitting on Scout and I will provide a written provenance of Scout's ownership. Good value @ $425 OBO. Contact Bruce
