6ys old, 7lb bonded twin brothers, Alto and Breve were the unfortunate victims of a puppy mill in Southern California. Because of this, they require a special, patient home willing to deal fear issues: fearful of touch, learning the art of pee pad training, and currently unable to walk outside. Females are preferred, as males petrify them though they are currently fostered with a married couple. We are very hopeful that given time they will open up but we stress that this will take months. We can *not* separate them, as that would be just too much for them. Alto is the more daring of the two, who now greets his foster mom at the door, tail wagging 4ft away (but still runs if she tries to touch him). Breve is the shyer of the two but both get along well with the four dogs and two cats that live in their current home. Both are currently taking Fluxotine for their anxiety and have signs of aging vision. All Paws For Life Rescue dogs come neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
