The lovely Wave Runner is for sale! Located in Ucluelet. This boat has been my weekend adventure machine, sunset cruiser, and cozy abode for the last 5 years, and now we are shifting our energy to land-living so it is time to pass her on to someone who can carry on taking her on epic adventures! She is a 30' Newport II and sails like a dream. This model is also one of the biggest 'small boats' out there. With an 11 foot beam, she is super spacious inside. She has a solar panel, power inverter and 3 new 12V deep cycle batteries, making this boat totally off-grid capable. She was hauled out, cleaned and painted just over a year ago. She was also inspected at the same time and came back with all good news. The fibreglass hull, lead keel and rudder are all in great shape. Zincs have been changed regularly. This is a great sailing vessel, handles various conditions well, and is easy to single hand as all sheets run into the cockpit and are easily accessible. Main sail and jib in good shape, and storm sail and spinnaker are in excellent condition. 18 HP Kubota Diesel tractor engine which sips fuel 80 gallon freshwater tank, 30 gallon fuel tank, 5 foot draft. Bruce anchor in good condition, with about 40 feet of chain and lots of rode. Also includes spare Danforth anchor. Depth sounder has been reliable. Dickinson wood stove, which heats up the space in a matter of minutes. Tons of storage space. V berth bed is large and comfortable. Also has a quarter berth Inside is a propane stove for cooking. Both sinks use foot pumps which is nice and low maintenance. Seals and gaskets in the head have recently been changed, also equipped with hand shower.
