The boat in very good shape but needs some work. I believe it would be well suited for someone looking for a project boat. This is a 1950 Ed Monk with a 54 HP 4 cyl. BMC diesel inboard that runs great. It has two 30 gal fuel tanks and two 30 gal water tanks. 30ft length, 10ft beam, 3.5ft draft 120 shore power. Once restored the boat is worth an estimated $125000. As is, the boat is dry docked because it needs a seal at the propeller shaft as it was taking on water in this area and the stuffing box in that area is also in need of repair. I had the boat in the water before the seal let loose and it was water tight. The outer roof of the cabin also needs to be re-canvased. Other than that the boat needs some cosmetic work done on it. The boat can be worked on where it is now stored. The monthly storage cost is $75 per month. I must sell this boat ASAP and can not afford to keep restoring it. I would like to get around $2500.00 for the boat but I am open to offers.
