Applications are invited for Support Attendants in our Summer Camps. Support Attendants will liaise with parents and children and assist instructors with the supervision of camps and implementing camp activities. A warm, friendly rapport with children, parents, and staff, plus the energy and enthusiasm to ensure varied and enjoyable programs are essential for these positions. Support attendants provide 1:1 care for participants within camps. Responsibilities: * Actively participate and facilitate pre-planned activities for a variety of age groups; * Liaise with children, parents and staff in a warm and friendly manner; * Guiding the child and assisting in the program, which may include assisting in completing necessary written documentation of the child's progress Qualifications: * Previous experience working with children; * Ability to work as an effective team member; * Ability to work a flexible schedule; * Current Emergency First Aid and CPR-C; * Provision of current Police or RCMP Criminal Record check. Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45am - 5:30pm (hours vary). Rate: $16.19 per hour plus $2.27 per hour in lieu of benefits.
