2009 Nissan Murano SL AWD. Handymans special. 310,xxx km. The Good - The Murano runs and drives but does need some work. There are no rust spots or dents ( minor door dents and some scratches consistence with age) and the body as a whole is in good condition. There are four newer tires from Costco within the last few years with very few KM's. All of the following has been done to the car within the last two years.... New steering rack, All steering control arms replaced, New replacement catalytic converters, Replaced ABS actuator, Repacked front bearings, Two new front hub assemblies, Exhaust was replaced. Interior is good condition with no rips or tears. All electronics work. The car was brought from Ontario two years ago and was fully safetied at that time. Over all the car is in good shape cosmetically. The Bad - We have been told that the transmission needs work. This is noticeable when you drive the car as it is now. The engine runs fine, but when it is in gear the transmission slips. Also the radiator has a leak in it, so it can't travel very far before overheating ( as we can only put water in the Rad.... Not going to put any antifreeze as it just leeks out ). If someone has the expertise to fix these two problems, you would be getting a $4000-$5000 car for half the price.
