$6,950 · 2007 Ford Ranger 2WD - clean and well cared for

Selling my beloved Ranger to purchase a 4X4 SUV. I thought I'd own this truck forever.... Truck is 2WD automatic, extended cab, with a 3.0L engine. Decent on gas, able to carry plenty of things - great for camping and adventures or could be a good work truck. Has jumpseats in the cab to seat 2 additional passengers. I'm the third owner - I purchased the truck in 2012 and have meticulously maintained it since then. I have followed the manufacturer's guidelines with service and have kept a log of the maintenance record in the manual. Comes with 9 years of service records covering roughly 125,000km. This truck has never let me down. The good: Good acceleration and throttle response, steering is tight. Brakes are newly serviced and strong. Transmission shifts smoothly. All-terrain all weather tires have plenty of tread left on them. Clean and rust free. Running as well as the day I bought it. The bad: Fog lights don't work (opted to disconnect them rather than repair, have not missed them) Passenger side door sensor is very sensitive. Truck occasionally throws an "open door" notification and turns on the cabin lights. This is avoided with a firm close of the passenger side doors. Latch is secure. Scratches in the clear coat - "Port Hardy racing stripes" Parking brake sensor sometimes stays on after parking brake is released. Pull up on foot pedal to fully disengage parking brake. Recent work: 2021 - sway bar link replaced, recent oil change, one tire replaced due to a puncture. 2020 - new spark plugs, throttle body, serpentine belt, and front brakes, rotors, hubs, and calipers (in October! Basically brand new) 2019 - transmission service, radiator flush, windshield repair, airbag service (factory recall) Recent mechanical inspection report is on hand. Front brakes are near 100%, rear at 60% This truck needs nothing except regular oil changes for the foreseeable future. $6950 Truck currently has insurance and is available for test drives.
