2003 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS 2.7L, automatic transmission with manual shift option, gas engine. 250,xxx This car was purchased by my Mum brand new from Victoria Hyundai in '03, she gave the car to me last year. It's spent it's entire life living on the island (aside from the odd trip to the mainland). We've loved blackberry for the last 16 years, but it's time to move on to something with 7 seats and a little bigger for road trips with friends. The good; - The engine was replaced with a used engine (which now would have ~220,000km on) in Jan of 2016. Timing belt and water pump done at the same time. - New battery, alternator, serpentine belt and rear breaks replaced within the last 12 months. - 2 inch tow hitch and 4 pin wiring - Electric mirrors, windows and sunroof. Front heated seats. - Cruise control The "bad;" I've tried to list all of the noteworthy issues here so that you're left with no surprises! I had a full inspection by Rand Automotive completed about 6 weeks ago which can be provided to any potential buyer - needs new front breaks - needs tires soon - needs automatic transmission fluid flush - transmission cooler has slight leak - Scratches on almost all body panels. There are not many dents, but the paint work is far from perfect. Some paint fading around the hood and on roof which you'll see on many Santa Fe's of this age - but certainly not as bad as I have seen on others. - AC doesn't blow cold - No electric fob. We have 2 keys, 1 Hyundai one which is 100%, then one which was cut by Home Hardware and is a bit finicky - Stitching damage to leather on driver's seat and steering wheel - Headlights are a little foggy (would benefit from sand/polish and there is small crack in one of the taillights, although all lights work - Individual window switches do not work, but driver's switch still works to control all windows - Stone chip on the windshield Thule roofrack is extra if wanted I'm located in Oak Bay and happy for any perspective purchaser to take the vehicle for a test drive and have the car inspected by a mechanic if they wish.
