Selling my 2001 VW Golf, It has the 1.9 ALH TDI engine which is one of the best and most reliable engines Volkswagen has ever made. At 170,000 kms, it is still in the very early stages of its life. I get around 900kms to every tank of fuel driving highway through the week and city on the weekends. Never had any issues with this car and it is in perfect mechanical condition. Some pros include; -Fresh oil and filter in October -Timing belt done at 120xxxkms -Front and Rear pads and rotors done in July -Aftermarket bluetooth headunit -Power everything -Sunroof -2 key fobs -All weather floor mats -Lots of life left on good M+S tires It does have some very minor cosmetic damage including a small dent on passenger side front fender from previous owner, and the plastic front lip has a crack in it. I have explored all around Vancouver Island with this car this year and also did a road trip in the summer to Calgary/Edmonton and have enjoyed every kilometre in it and I'm sure that the new owners will as well.
