$4,700 · 1990 BMW R100GSPD. $4700 "SALE PENDING"

For sale is my 1990 BMW R100GSPD. This was originally the R100GS. Over a period of years I accumulated all the parts necessary to modify it to a PD. The bike will come with all the original GS parts included in the sale, in case you want to return it to its original state. The bike just returned from 6 years in Germany where I used it for 2 or 3 months a year during our yearly holiday/ motorcycle trip. The bike bike was maintained annually while in Europe ( oil changes, carbs adjusted ). The left side head and valves were repaired/rebuilt in Germany 3 years ago ( more or less 3000 kms ago ). A new clutch was installed the previous year in France ( 4000 kms ago ). This year and probably the next years do not look so good for motorcycle travel abroad so I brought the bike back. I do not see a need for it here now or in the near future, so it is now for sale. The bike is very good working order and is ready to go. It could use a good paint job and new decals. The tires are road oriented. It is insured at the moment. Modifications / upgrades include: - 450 watts Enduralast charging system - PDM 60 electronic fuse system - Custom made ( for heavier duty ) Touratech rear shock/spring - Progressive front springs in the front forks. - 320 mm front disk brakes with dual calipers from a mid 90's R100RT - Modified/ beefed up Roo bar to better protect the tank. - Heated grips. - 2 BMW power outlets added - Rox handlebar risers. - Modified side stand ( to accommodate my short legs ) - Corbin dual seat. - Taller windscreen. The deal will include: - original GS tank, GS side fairing, GS front shield, and an extra roo bar. It will also include a pair of Jesse Bags made specifically for the R100GS and its mounting system. The original bmw sidebags are also included. $4700 with a lot of extra parts seem fair. Thanks for looking.
