Outfitted for off-grid living and long roadtrip: 3-way fridge, 2 built-in propane burners, elect burner, propane furnace, hot water, elect heater, insulate, warm in winter, new toilet, two holding tanks, waterlines/pumbing replaced, power windows/lock, front window cover. Lots of storage, big rear bed. USB ports front, side and back
Two locking fuel tanks. Fully loaded, fuel, water, propane, all gear, gets aprox 750 km range at approx $200 to fill both tanks.
High-end solar package, pro-install, charges from panrl, plug-in and driving. Charges all batteries via AC or from panel. New 1000w pure sinewave inverter plus original inverter.
Huge monocrystalline solar panel takes up 2/3 of roof, 2 sealed batteries (rear), 2 regular auto batteries up front. Powers electronics for 3 people, 2 fulltime fans, tablet, phones, lights, water pump, AC sewing machine. AC/DC plugins. Wireless Sony cam for security, powered by solar system. 2 usb fans for condensation in winter, coolingvin summer.
New transmission AAMCO. $5000. Tow package never towed on this transmission. New tires, recent BC inspection, newly outfitted inside. Very clean BC van. Drives smoothly, solid, very big/powerful motor for steep hills (460 8cyl I think). Transmissions in campervans work hard, typically need replacement at 160k km. This van is at 145k km, so you are good to go.
This van is well cared for, solid/mechanically sound, easily passed inspection, only leaky caliper, replaced, have recipts. Mechanic diagnosed/noted small vaccum leak that does not affect anything so he suggested to wait until its bigger so its easier to find. Some water stains inside from condensation and a leaky window now resealed, new circulating fans. No other issues! I bought a diagnostic tool that you can have and a new jack. Simple to run/maintain a classic 80s van.
BC auto insurance doesn't justify lettingbit sit. Serious inquiries please. I live with tight parking. Test drive and have your mechanic look at it is fine, if you are ready to make an offer close to asking price. Thanks.
