1988 Mercedes 560SL I am basically the second owner of this vehicle, the original purchaser bought the car in California in 1988 and I have the full history of the car. These cars are very collectible as the 560SL was not sold in Europe but made for the North American market and only about 12,000 made and the R107 is the classic sports car. They originally sold for over $61,000 US dollars and Haggarty's current values for one in good standard are in the $25-26K range and those rated just fair and daily drivers in the $12 +. Showroom low mileage 560's can fetch up to $100 k This vehicle would be considered near good standard on the rating, it has 157k original miles. The color is Anthracite Grey, there is no rust, the soft top is new and leather is in near pristine condition. Like any collectible car there are things that could be attended to if you want to show it, for me it is the sunny Sunday summer driver. The only reason I am parting with the car as I have several other collectible vehicles and covered storage is an issue on what to keep. I am asking $15,500 for serious inquiries no joyriders.
