My plan was to restore the Toyota to mint condition, put a camper on it, and take it on a long trip to Mexico, but then the apocalypse got in the way! This is a really good example of a relatively rare Toyota 1 ton truck (only 7000 made). Other than the factory beefed-up suspension, it also boasts a 2655lb. payload and a 7 hot 3 inch box (9 inches longer than the standard). It will handle the weight of a truck camper, if that's your plan. It's 35 years old, and has its share of bumps and bruises, but generally speaking, it's a decent looking truck. Still gets compliments. You can drive it in its current state for many years to come, or take the $$$$ plunge and make it perfect. The Excellent: -Legendary 22re engine with only 307K on the odometer -Excellent Clutch/Brakes and overall excellent mechanically -Comes with a full tank of gas -Great Frame with very very little rust -Absolutely wonderful fuel economy The Not Quite So Excellent: -Small Dent on Driver's Side Front Fender -Seat Ripped (see pic) -Windshield Cracked on Upper Passenger Side (not in vision) -Various Pockets of Surface Rust in the Box and in a few areas -35 year old truck! Might consider partial trades if it is enticing enough!
