This is my dream car. Had one 20 years ago, let go of it, and then found this one in November 2018. I love this car and I don't want to sell it. However, after living with the car for almost a year, I've come to the conclusion that I don't have the resources to properly care for it. I don't have the space. I don't have the time. Money is more reasonably spent elsewhere on stupid stuff like housing and food. And saving! Yuck. I gutted the interior of the car in January. Brought it all down to metal and wires. No rust in the floorpans. Pulled out all the garbage stereo wiring that had been installed over the years. Bought an OEM cassette deck out of Minnesota and wired it up with an aux port so you can plug in your devices. Pulled the headliner and replaced it. Washed every single interior panel. - quarter panel windows are aftermarket and cracked but you can replace them easily enough with parts from the Fiero Store - taillights are peeling a bit, as they do. Still cool though. I'm on a waiting list for some awesome, GM-licensed replacements that are being prototyped now and we can swap my name for yours on the list - paint is ROUGH - seat covers are ROUGH This is a rad little Fiero. Pull out the sunroof, roll down the windows, blast The Smiths, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, whatever. Those who know just know. This thing bleeds 80s cool. As panned as it was/is by critics, you can't come out for a rip in this thing and deny how fun it is. Riding on the highway and having your head lower than the top of a semi-truck's tire is a blast. People will stop you at the gas station or in parking lots to ask about it. Price is firm. I want this car to have a better life than I can provide but I'd rather neglect it than risk giving it an inferiority complex by selling it for less.
