selling my 1979 gs850g, i've only had it about 6 months, just want to move onto another project, the engine runs strong, quite alot of power for a older 850, i was surprised atleast when i got it that it had as much get up and go, its all original paint, this thing has had collector plates and will no hassle get collector plates on it if you want to keep it originalish, has another set of bars tracker high bars, and both tires are basically brand new. some parts of the paint are in really good shape but there are some marks, chips and scratches, the chrome front fender also has a few little dings in it, and one of the pipes is getting rusted out (as seen in picture) would be easy to get some EMGO pipes for 120 bucks online, and the engine colour is not rust, its a coating the previous owner put on that stained the engine, would look good if painted black with some high temp black paint, also just put some euro handlebars and biltwell grips on last week. again she needs some work, but the engine is strong and runs great, everything is there, this would be a great bike if you want to restore it or completely cafe it, the choice is yours, it just had the fork seals replaced, new fork oil, had a once over everything checked, tires are basically brand new,, oil is good, also comes with a highway crash bars,, let me know if you have any questions. thanks
