1975 FJ40 converted to BJ40 Landcruiser modified. This is a project truck with lots of potential. It is not street worthy at this time but could be with some work. Has registration. Needs basic wiring, intake, exhaust, place for battery, indicators, power steering pump mounted, a general going over from sitting and possibly a set of better gears to suit big tires. Obviously it has rust, body is rough but frame is surprisingly intact. I have run out of time and space to properly care for this amazing icon of 4x4 history. It has a 3B diesel with a H42 4 speed transmission donated from a well cared for but very rusty 1981 BJ60. Some of the upgrades to this truck include: Spring over axle conversion with Saginaw power steering, fiberglass oversized fender front and rear, late model disc brake front end with manual locking hubs, reupolstered seats in reasonable shape with matching folding sideways seating in rear. Truck currently sits on 37x12.5r15 nibs still visible as they are new.
