This is a 1953 military M42 Ambulance. It was converted by the US Navy to be a diver support vehicle in San Francisco. It was imported from the states and was certified and licensed in BC. New wiring harness and brakes were installed, and she was running before being parked for a couple of years. I am unable to get her started when I tried last week, so she will likely need to be towed away. I don't have the time or skills to properly restore or take care of this fine piece of history, so I am hoping to find her a better home. She comes with a number of spare parts, spare tiers, and all the old manuals I could find (see pictures). I'll also throw in a hard to find copy of the Dodge M34 Restoration Guide by David H. Ahl. This took me a few years to track down and cost over $300.
