$400 · 1927 Canadiens Original Photos...Vezina, Joliat, etc.

Fantastic collection of very rare old Montreal Canadiens photos. Each is approx. 8 1/2" x 14 1/2" and are from a magazine, probably La Presse. There is no year on any but based on the seasons these players played for Montreal they are from 1927/28 to 1929/30. The photo attached is of Joliat. It was too large to fit on the scanner, but most have the players name along the bottom as well as a short bio in french. The Burke one has it in a box in the bottom right rather than along the bottom and there isn't one for Fraser or the executives. Also Fraser's name is written on the bottom in red ink. 16 photos of: Georges Vezina/Leonard Gaudreault, Aurele Joliat/Martin Burke, Georges Mantha/Johnny Gagnon, George Patterson/Wildor Larochelle, Alfred "Pit" Lepine/Herbert Gardiner, George Hainsworth/Charlie Langlois, Harold "Gizzy" Hart/Arthur Gagne, Gordon Fraser/four photos of executives (Cecil Hart, Leo Dandurand, Louis Letourneau and Jos. Cattarinich). Unfortunately they are all glued back to back and have four punch holes down the side for insertion into a binder. They are listed above showing which are back to back. Besides that they generally range from fair to good condition (possibly one or two would rate vg) with varying degrees of wear, damage, marks, creases and stains.
