This vintage ¾-size Singer 128 machine is almost 100 years old! It comes complete with its bentwood case & key, knee control, and many original attachments. It is an electric machine made in 1925 and was Singer's first model to use the 'vibrating shuttle' technology. It is of cast iron and steel construction, which has allowed it to stand the test of time. It obviously has been well used in its early years, but the mechanical parts of it were designed to be used over generations. It has been stored away for 50 years or so & was largely used as a decorative piece for several years before that. The case is in very good vintage condition & measures 12"high, 17"wide, 8"deep.
