$17/hr Packaging Technician

JSF Technologies is a well established, fast growing business providing Solar Powered Traffic Solutions throughout North America and beyond. We are looking for an experienced packaging technician to help ensure our products can reach their destination safely. Responsibilities: Work in a safe manner to safely maneuver heavy units Prep and Package all outgoing orders, warranties, or replacement parts Daily stock checks of materials and goods used for shipping/handling Taping boxes Using two-part expansion foam packaging system (Instapack) Cutting foam sections for specialized wrapping of fragile parts Configuring pallet shipments of large orders Work closely with Q/A and Production Managers to ensure ship dates are met Be familiar with all the different types of unit configurations and understand shipping SOPs Education/ Training: Forklift Certification preferred Prior packaging/shipping experience (1-2 years+) preferred Capabilities: Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations Ability to meet deadlines Able to lift 50lbs Able Maneuver heavier (50 lbs +) items safely on a regular basis Ability to be consistently looking for ways to improve procedures Job Type: Full-time
