One of the first settled riverfronts in Lake Cowichan. Likely desired because of the beautiful low bank stretch of river offering perfect sun exposure and easy access to the Cowichan Lake with 32 km of all that it offers for swimming and boating and recreational opportunities. Lake Cowichan is a lovely small town which swells to three times its size in the summer and is quiet and peaceful all winter long. This protected river is still a good spawning ground and fly fishing mecca. Enjoy a leisurely tube down this historic river or be part of our music culture provided by Lake Town Ranch that is bringing in some world class music to our beautiful area.
