$40,000 · Sailboat Wanted 35-40ft

We are a young couple looking to purchase a sailboat for the purpose of living aboard and cruising. We have been working professionally, living, and going to school for the last several years, bouncing around BC and the Yukon. Much of our work has been involved with fisheries, including commercial and recreational fisheries, as well salmon enhancement. One of us is attending university for biology, while the other continues the pursuit of a meaningful career. We are kind people with positive intentions and good motives, and we are looking for a home. This boat will be lived on for at least 5 years, 3 of which will be in Victoria, starting in January, 2020. The intention is to refine our sailing skills, while exploring more of this beautiful province we are living in. We are asking anybody who has a sailboat for sale, or anybody who knows someone with a sailboat for sale, to reach out. Our budget is around $50,000, length 34-40 feet, and year 1980 or newer.
