PLS HELP!!! TEMPORARY HOUSING AFTER FALLING FOR COVID RENTAL SCAM

We are a mature, quiet couple in our thirties and we are desperately seeking an affordable, pet friendly bachelor or 1 bedroom suite after learning that the apartment we thought we had secured for May 1st was posted fraudulently. With no place to live come May 1st we are hoping that someone will read this and have the heart to help us out in light of our unfortunate situation. Even if its temporary it would atleast give us more time to continue looking for a more suitable, long-term accommodation. We do have an older, adult cat which is where most places are not willing to make an exception to the rules, however we can guarantee our cat will not spray or damage your property in anyway, he is neutered, strictly indoors and is 100% free of any fleas or parasites.
