Retired Teacher - Let me help with your childcare needs.

Dear Moms and Dads, Finding the right person to look after your children can be a difficult and daunting task. My ultimate goal is to provide a joyful, enriched environment for your child /children and for you to feel completely comfortable leaving your child/children in my care. I have multiple years of experience looking after children. As a retired Teacher I have worked with children from preschool up to school leavers. My classrooms were always places of discovery, imagination and individualism. My philosophy: children (and all people) must feel validated and respected and that is central to the care I provide. I have many interests that I enjoy sharing with my children. Arts and crafts, making up dances and songs, outdoor games, building things out of boxes, bug hunting, reading and of course baking. I have a real love of baking/cooking I would be happy to help with this if needed. I am looking for 20 -30 hours a week but happy to work with several families if only a few hours are needed each week.
