I adopted 7-year-old Jet from my gramma who recently passed. He is the sweetest boy and I have really bonded with him but unfortunately my other cat has decided she hates him, and keeping them together is not fair to either of them. Jet is really used to living with my quiet gramma and has a bit of trauma in his past that makes him skittish and sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements. Therefore his ideal home would be with a single women or couple who lives a calm lifestyle without children or big, bouncy dogs. He isn’t a big cuddler but loves to chat, interact and be close to his humans (including sleeping at their feet). Some of his favourite things to do is roll around on his back while receiving soft pets from his people, playing with soft, quiet stuffed toys and sleeping in closets and cat trees. He also loves to eat. He is in great health, litter trained, neutered and has never peed in the house. He does need things to scratch though! He was an outdoor cat at my grammas but has been mostly indoor since moving here and has adjusted well to the indoor life. Although him and my cat didn’t get along. I believe he would be okay with other cats that are friendly and okay having their space intruded on by other animals. Jet was really interested in my cat and had trouble leaving her be, even when she told him to back off. Please email me a little bit about your situation, and why you think jet may be a good fit for you :) ideally another older woman who needs a companion would be amazing. Thanks!
