3.3L V6 PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION Selling my Santa Fe that has been in my household since new, was my parents and now mine. The only reason I’m selling this reliable SUV is because I’m moving in Vancouver to a place with no parking and I don’t drive very much. This is an amazingly reliable car and we have been maintaining it very well. I have a journeyman mechanic in the family with a professional private shop who has been doing all the maintenance. Most of the big ticket items that need to be done on a car of this mileage have been done. - new tires - new brakes - ball joints - fuel sensor unit - alternator - starter - battery - ignition switch - valve cover gasket There is currently one issue where there is a small oil leak dripping onto exhaust creating a burning smell which is annoying only when the vehicle is stopped and outside air is selected to come in through the vents . when the vehicle is moving the smell is easily dissipated instantly outside and you can choose the recycled air option to prevent the smell coming inside. The only time it is a problem is when it is very cold and you need to use the defroster when stopped, the defroster only uses outside air not recycled air. The smell isn't that noticeable when standing outside the car, its just that the smell comes up through the hood right to where the air intake for the vents are in at the bottom of the windshield Fairfield auto diagnosed as likely valve cover crack which is ~$550 to repair. The front valve cover was just done so that is taken care of, and they said the rear valve cover is not necessary at this point. If this issue was not present i would be asking $5k, so the current price is a $750 discount in case they are wrong and something extra needs to be done.
