This is a great adventure vehicle!! All wheel drive Forester with automatic transmission, leather heated seats, power everything, nice wheels, heaps of rear cargo/camping space and more! Generally speaking, it's in solid condition. The pesky head gasket issue was taken care of years ago (have a copy of the bill), it runs straight and true, and just recently spent $1650 on maintenance/cosmetics. The interior is super-clean - really hard to fault anywhere. The exterior is decent enough (see photos) with no dents, very few scratches and the odd morsel of rust here and there, but nothing you wouldn't expect on a 20 year old car. As mentioned, it's a very solid and substantial ride. It won't win any races (except maybe against other Foresters), but it's one of the safest, reliable cars on the road. It's also very versatile. With 64 cubic feet of cargo space in the back, you can help your friends move, run a small business, or camp in a pinch!
