This is an extremely scarce hardcover book written by Alfred Emberson and illustrated by M. Emberson. It is an account of his first impressions of the Capital city when he arrived here in August 1916 with his wife. The book measures 4" x 6" and contains 104 pages, including 7 illustrations. It was published by the Victoria Printing and Publishing Company in 1916. There is some sun fading to the spine however the binding is sound. The interior is in excellent condition, with the exception of three pages in the middle of the book which have a light handling crease.
