This is my albino Indian Ringneck, and her name is Una. She is not DNAd and since she is albino, you cannot sex her by whether or not she has a ring, but... her personality is very female, so we go on that assumption. She is just over a year and we love her very much, but i think she would be happier elsewhere. She is timid but is tame and will warm up to you and she does not bite. She is fully flighted. We have a very chaotic household with kids, dogs, and a number of other birds. She has not bonded strongly with any of us (birds, human, or otherwise), and she spends much of her day alone making alarm calls, so i think that a quieter household will suit her better. We love her and have tried, but I think her personality is better suited to a quieter household. We have had her since she was weaned. She is safe here and cared for, so i will be picky about where she goes. She spends her day out of her cage and only goes in at night. She does not talk, and she can be loud and also destructive to walls and such if she doesn't have enough toys. We ONLY want her to go to an experienced home that understands IRN and how lovely as well as how loud they can be. This. Is. Not. An. Apartment. Bird. She is also not a bird who can hang at home alone for 8+ hours a day. I will ask for a rehoming fee. The price is somewhat negotiable, but IRN are not cheap to get or to raise. She has a cage that can go with her, but again it's not free. She must go to someone who has time for her and who will not leave her in a cage. She eats tropican pellets and chop every day. She needs toys and love and your time. I believe she would prefer to be in a calmer house where she isn't competing for attention. If you are interested, please tell me a bit about yourself and your experience with birds. I am having a very hard time thinking of sending her to live with someone else and would not be doing so if i didn’t think she would benefit from a different environment. I'm not responding to messages simply asking how much or if she's still available. She's a smart creature, not an object for sale. Thanks.
