Job Summary   Rhys Saxton Painting is a residential re-paint company specializing in exterior painting projects and large strata projects. We focus on hiring people with a great work ethic and rock-solid integrity. We have a proven track record for training people from the ground up, making them amazing painters. We cannot train work ethic, or integrity though. If you are someone looking for seasonal work over the summer months Rhys Saxton Painting has a spot on our team for you. Responsibilities and Duties We train our crew members to perform the following: -Prep and paint exterior and interiors surfaces -Maintain an organized and clean job site -Team-work and leadership skills * -Customer service -Critical thinking and problem-solving skills -Project efficiency You will perform general painting tasks with a crew of 2-3 people, all days will be different. Prepping area for paint, use of paint sprayers and sometimes pizza lunch! You will report directly to our production manager with questions and training as well as customers for daily progress reports and final walk throughs and inspections.   We expect all employees to be self sufficient and rely on their own intuition of how they problem solve! Qualifications and Skills Requirements to apply: * -N or Full drivers license * -Owns vehicle with full-time use (company vehicle can be supplied for qualified applicants) * -Lives in Greater Victoria/Surrounding areas. * -Looking for full-time work (min 35 hours per week) * -Willing to learn our painting systems and project procedures * -Resume and Cover letter Painting experience is not required, however, its certainly desirable. The reason we are willing to hire people without experience is simple, we would rather train someone with a great work ethic and rock-solid integrity than hire someone who is a great painter without the ethics to back it up. We can train painting skills, we cannot train work ethics and integrity. Our training systems are the key to our business success.
