Westfalia 1990 Manual shift and rust-free body (never been in accident). Over the past 5 years I enjoyed traveling in my van every summer on Vancouver Island - runs well (346,066 accident free kms). I have had the van completely repainted and added features (below) I felt made it more suitable for the enjoyment of Vancouver Island's wilderness and still meets requirements for “Collector status”. • South African grille with brighter headlights for night driving • Shadyboy awning - a camping necessity • Pop-top 3 window canvas (VW Bugshop) for much better views • Off-road 17” VW rims with Goodrich All-Terrain tires with Bilstein Shocks • Front window seals replaced • Electric window motors and switches replaced • All windows tinted to block sun's UV rays, as well as giving living privacy • Rear custom stainless steel roof rack for ease of sliding on canoe, lumber, etc. • Pop-Top Load Assist Kit • Fuel tank, pump and filter replaced • Fuel rails replaced with aluminum set • Luggage rack hardware all replaced with marine stainless-steel fittings. • A gravel guard surface was applied to sides and front of van • Non-skid step-up pads on bumpers • Possible set up for four passengers
