Site managers (paid positions) and festival volunteers wanted

SITE MANAGERS For our SKAMpede Festival this year we are looking to hire Site Managers to assist with the running of our tours! Festival Dates: July 16-18 SKAMpede: is an outdoor, live performance festival where audiences can walk and cycle their way from performance to performance in tours along the Galloping Goose Trail. Last year the festival was adapted to ensure public safety, this year will be similar but expanded in strict accordance with BC’s restart plan. https://skam.ca/skampede/ One of the changes we have made in response to COVID-19 is the addition of hired Site Managers at each show location along the trail. Duties will include set-up and strike of each location, acting as Front of House and managing patron ingress/egress, communicating with the Co-producers and Production Manager at the Hub via radio, ensuring patrons follow physical distancing protocols, and discouraging passers-by from congregating to watch the shows. Dates and times are as follows: July 14 (Wednesday training/set up) 1700 - 2100 July 15 (Thursday dress rehearsal) 1700 - 2100 July 16 (Friday preview) 1700 - 2100 July 17 (Saturday festival day 1) 1100 - 2000 July 18 (Sunday festival day 2) 1100 - 2000 Availability for the full hours Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday is required. Site Managers working the festival are paid a flat rate of $700. The hours may shift slightly as we refine the schedule closer to the week of the festival.
