Join us on Toad’s Landing* and be inspired by nature and the tranquility of this small private island. Explore the island with its spectacular ocean views, meadows, gardens and ponds...then be ready to create! In this first of a series of workshops, you will transform oyster shells into a beautiful trinket dish which could be used to hold jewelry, salt, paper clips, etc. or as a unique accent piece in your home. If you are thinking ahead to the holiday season, they make a great hostess gift or stocking stuffer. When: Saturday, October 15, 2022 Time: 10:30 am – 4:30 pm Instructor: Jenn Carere @jenns.upcycles Cost: $125.00 Included: -Boat Shuttle (5-minute crossing from Canoe Cove Marina to Johnson Island) -Tour of the Island -Coffee and tea -Lunch and snacks -All supplies (Each participant will take home a minimum of 4 completed shells) Maximum # of participants: 8 Registration and Inquiries: frances.carere@live.ca (by October 10th) * “Toad’s Landing” is on a small private island located 1000 feet from Canoe Cove Marina and the former home of William Garden, a renowned naval architect and boat builder (imagine Toad Hall from “Wind in the Willows,” complete with a crow’s nest).
