1K Kid's Fun Run

Children are invited to participate in the 1K Kid's Fun Run, a part of the Esquimalt 5K presented by LifeMark Health event on Saturday, April 6th. 1K registration is just $5 anytime but please note, space is limited so early registration is encouraged. Registration is available online: Esquimalt.ca/5k or through Esquimalt Parks & Recreation in person or by phone at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser St, 250.412.8500. The route starts and finishes behind the Archie Browning Sports Centre on Lyall Street: 5K participants and local mascots line the streets to cheer everyone on. The 1K event begins at 9:00 a.m., the 5K at 9:30 a.m. and the post-race festivities continue in the curling rink until 11:30 a.m. Parents/caregivers do not need to register to participate in the 1K run with their children although they are certainly welcome and encouraged to do so!
