Please email me introducing yourself and ask for directions to the open house. I will not meet virtually. The cottage is available mid June, July or August, and located in downtown Shawnigan. It is a 450 SQFT detached cottage surround by a fenced in yard for pets and a private setting, centrally located close to shops, restaurants, coffee houses, etc. The layout is suitable for a single occupant with pets and NOT for a couple. It includes: - 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom - Stove and fridge - Washer & dryer - Outdoor deck - Fenced in yard - Multiple storage lockers Not included: - Dishwasher - Utilities including monthly water, gas, electricity, cable I seek a communicative tenant that can work collaboratively when/if issues arise. I live in Vancouver which makes it challenging to get to Shawnigan. I have a list of reliable trades but want a communicative and active tenant that can do things to solve the problem but if not, I can contract my trades to solve anything that may come up. Absolutely no smoking or vapers, and dogs and cats are okay, but I require a pet deposit and a one (1) year lease. I will do a credit check on any prospective tenant and call previous landlords for verification you are a good tenant. I follow the Provincial Residential Tenancy Act including signing a rental agreement, completing a move-in and move-out inspection report to ensure you understand my expectations of me as a landlord and what I expect from you as a prospective tenant. One final comment. This is a 60-year-old building that, while secure and updated, is not for everyone and may not have the amenities you expect. Please think about this before coming to see the cottage.
