This accomodation is best suited to someone working or attending school away from home as we have a young family living adjacent to the suite, and as this is an older home, there will be some ' sound transference' when we are home. (Not ideal for shift workers or those needing pristine quiet during the day to work from home .) Location: We are located up on a hill , in scenic Saseenos, Sooke ( V9Z0E6) near the famous Galloping Goose Trail , 7- 10 minutes drive to the village of. Sooke, 15 -20 mins drive to Langford, Royal Roads University , 45 -60 min drive to UVic and downtown Victoria. Also on #61 bus route ( 5 minute 'uphill walk back from the bus). A market and restaurant. are walking distance nearby. Must be ok with a steep driveway. Unit Description : This unit is a 550 sq foot self contained, open concept space with living room, kitchen, full bath with shower (no tub) and 1 large bedroom. Comes fully furnished with stools, small couch , dresser , side tables and firm style Ikea queen bed . Basic cooking supplies, dishes, cutlery etc are also included . Rent for 1 person is $1325* month, rent for 2 persons $1450 month, plus small percentage of utilities - 2 people max. Rent includes: 1. Hydro, heat, hot water up to $50 month included- a typical monthly average if mostly working away from home ). Renter pays a % of any additional utilities usage over that amount if they use more. All media must be turned down to very minimal volumes or be used with headphones after 10 pm weekdays when our kids are in bed . Pets: 1 Quiet non yappy mature, neutered pet considered with pet references and additional deposit. No Staffy breeds due to strata. Dogs must NOT be left home unattended when you are at school or work or out for longer periods. Indoor cat considered. No outdoor cats, we already have 1. No caged pets or aquariums . (If you have a horse , we do have a Self board paddock and shelter available for your horse at additional cost). Maximum of 2 occupants only to be living here, due to septic system limits. No home based businesses especially with clients in the home. Must carry renters insurance . Masks must be worn during COVID in common areas , ie laundry room .
